Dark Sky Walk

Presented by the Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter, this dark sky walk on April 19th will take you out on a wonderful stoll to see the beautifully clear night-sky around Park City. A representative from the Swaner Preserve will lead the walk as well as provide information about dark skies and light pollution.

Depending on terrain conditions, this could either be a hike or a snowshoe walk. Either way, come prepared with waterproof boots or hiking shoes, and dress accordingly for the cooler nighttime temperatures. If you sign up to join the walk, you will receive an email a couple days out to give more information on expected conditions.

If you're a member of the Swaner Preserve, then tickets to join the dark sky walk are $10. Non-member tickets cost $20. The walk will take place at the preserve from 8:30 - 10:00 PM on April 19th.
